Business Migration

This visa is commonly used by employers wishing to recruit overseas workers to work in nominated positions in Australia on a temporary basis.

There are three steps to obtaining a 457 visa -

  1. the employer needs to apply for approval as a Standard Business Sponsor ("SBS");

  2. the employer will then nominate the position to be filled and the primary person to fill it; and

  3. the prospective employee will then need to apply for aTemporary Business (Long Stay) visa (subclass 457).
